Coach Tour to Lipari and Vulcano

ITINERARY:
This excursion is a mini-cruise departing by bus with a guide to the port of Milazzo in the north and continuing on board a private motorboat to the island of Lipari. Stop on land with the possibility of visiting the historic center with the archaeological park and the cathedral. Free shopping among the typical shops of the island. Return on board and sailing along the “Faraglioni” and the “Grotta del Cavallo”. Continue by motorboat to Vulcano and stop on the island famous for its black beach. Numerous typical restaurants are available for an optional lunch. Upon returning by sea, sailing along the coast admiring the “Scoglio di Papa Giovanni” and the “Scoglio della Sirenetta”. Ecotax to be paid on board the bus not included. Return around 19:30 pm.

Taormina Terminal Bus, Via Luigi Pirandello. Please reconfirm the excursion at least the day before directly with the Supplier and be ready at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure time. Pick-up is also available in the areas of Taormina by the sea, Giardini Naxos, Recanati and Letojanni. Please contact the supplier to get more information about the closest pick-up point. AEOLIAN ARCHIPELAGO:
The Aeolian Islands, UNESCO World Heritage Site, are seven islands located North East of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Lipari is the biggest of the islands, the other islands are: Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Alicudi and Filicudi.
IMPORTANT:
On arrival on the coasts of Vulcano, we could smell the sharp scent of the still-active volcanic island. Vulcano is typical for its bubbling mud pools and fumaroles that can be found just a few steps away from the port. Be aware that you will smell like a match for about two days after entering these mud baths: no matter how many showers you take! Have a bath in this area is not recommended for kids under 13years old, pregnant women and for those people having asthma problems.

This tour will be operated by a local supplier (all details after Confirmation). The supplier reserves the right to cancel trips under exceptional circumstances or for insufficient number of participants even after Confirmation. In such cases passengers will be promptly informed and offered an alternative tour and if the tour is a lower or higher cash value passengers will be take care to pay difference or will receive a refund. If passengers will refuse the alternative tour, the full amount paid will be refunded.
The conduct of sea excursions is always subject to the decisions of the shipping company and the relevant authorities. Recommended clothing: natural fibers, hat, swimsuit, beach towel and sunscreen. In case of no-show, the shipping company’s costs will be charged. Other groups will be present on board. The motor vessel is equipped with a bar and toilets. It is absolutely forbidden to consume take-away food and/or drinks on board. The toilets are not accessible near the ports and therefore their use is permitted only during navigation.
