Delta Airline lands to Sicily
From May 22 onward, Delta will offer One flight a day between New York and Catania. The connection will be operated by the Boeing 767-300: sure, are not the newest aircraft, however, it should be specified that they are set up in 4 classes of service (Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and main cabin).
This is the first time the Catania airport has offered a nonstop connection to the United States. There is currently only one direct flight connecting Sicily and the U.S.: Neos’ Palermo-New York, which will face competition from Delta starting next summer.
