Olive Oil and Wine Experience in Agrigento

Today meet the driver at your hotel in the area of Agrigento and drive to an Olive Oil Farmhouse.

We will start your visit with a stroll among the organic olive groves where an expert agronomist will explain the cultivation techniques, pruning, harvesting and all the “secrets” of the olive oil. Later move to the oil mill to discover the oil extraction processes, conservation and storage in the cellar, you will visit the bottling room and then the final tasting of bread and oil.

Later we drive to a local Winery Estate.

You will walk around the vineyards, visit the cellars and enjoy a wine tasting and light lunch. (Up to availability these two visits can be operated in a different order and in this case the light lunch will be made at the Olive Oil Farmhouse).

After lunch return to your hotel in Agrigento area.
